Note: a state-issued ID or passport is required in order to consume alcohol at the reception Saturday evening.
University policy requires us to have security checking IDs and issuing wristbands to those over 21 at the door.

Q: Where do I register?
A: Please visit the registration page and follow the instructions there to register.
Q: Will there be a registration fee?
A: Yes. The registration fee is $75.35 for students and $116.5 for faculty.
Prices will increase as the conference date approaches. More information can be found here.
Q: Are poster presenters eligible to submit a paper for publishing in the PLC proceedings?
A: No, posters will not be considered for the proceedings.
Q: Is it possible to have a poster displayed with no author present, or submit a paper for publishing in the PLC proceedings without presenting it at the conference?
A: No. One motivation of the PLC is to encourage linguists and those who work in relevant fields to participate in discussion revolving around the accepted works.
Q: What are the regulations for poster boards?
A: We ask that you follow the LSA poster guidelines found here:

Q: How long will each presentation/talk be?
A: Presentations may be up to 20 minutes long, with an additional 5 minutes for Q&A.
Q: How many handout copies should I have for my presentation?
A: Although it is hard to give an exact estimate, 30-40 copies is typically enough enough. If you submit your handouts with enough time in advance through EasyChair, we will be able to host it on our program page for electronic access by all talk attendees.
Q: Are there limitations on how many abstracts can be submitted by a given author?
A: Each author may only submit one first-authored abstract.
Q: Is the special panel open to abstract submissions?
A: No. Panel speakers are by invitation only.
Q: Do you accept cash on site at the registration desk?
A: Yes, but please note that the registration price at the desk will be significantly higher than online.
We will have very limited cash on hand so please make sure you come with the exact change.
Q: May I store my luggage at the conference venue?
A: We do not have luggage storage facilities on the premises, so please make all due arrangements before arriving to the conference.
