Here's a 103-second recording of me reciting a list of 74 words. They cover all the vowel phonemes of American English, in a variety of phonetic environments which should cover just about all of the well-known ongoing sound changes in American English and a few more besides.

The standard caveats apply: this is of course in highly careful reading-list style; I might sound different in conversational style. And there's only one word for each vowel in each relevant environment; if I happen to have produced one outside the normal phonetic range of that vowel you won't be able to tell because you'll have nothing to compare it to. But this should be enough to give anyone a good idea of the layout of my vowel space, and there's probably enough information in here to tell where I'm from, as well.
