Linguistic humor, Blowing things up
Students from a local high school were visiting a college campus to
conduct chemistry experiments. When the group was asked what they had
been up to that morning, one of the students replied, "We made nylon."
When further asked whether they also used their chemistry skills to blow
things up, the student recoiled, horrified, "No". A fellow student set
the record straight, though. "We blow up balloons," she said.
