Linguistics 001      Extra Credit for Experiment Participation

You can earn up to 3 points (out of 100) of extra credit for participation in relevant experiments. What does this really mean? Well, if your numerical grade at the end of the course were (say) 91, equivalent to an A-, an extra 3 points would give you 94, equivalent to an A.

There are two ways you can do this:

(1) Create an account on the Sona system, and use it to sign up for relevant studies.

(2) Sign up for and participate in one of the independent research projects that will be advertised to you from time to time in class. Again, you'll get 1 point per hour of participation, up to a maximum of 3.

Additional information about experiment participation is available here.
