I'm interested in pragmatics, semantics and computational linguistics.
-
More specifically, I enjoy working on anaphora in null-subject languages, information structure, game-theoretical approaches to pragmatics and non-truth conditional meaning.
-
My thesis will deal with the variation between null and overt pronouns found in Catalan and many other Romance languages: it presents psycholinguistic and corpus data, as well as a game-theoretical approach to this variation. You can take a look at my dissertation proposal.

I have previously worked on:
the semantics of the Catalan interjection 'Déu n'hi do' and, by extension, the semantics of exclamatives [PDF]
acquisition of irregular patterns in Spanish verbal morphology [PDF]
the pragmatics of right-dislocation in Catalan [PDF]
I did some work on automatic learning of syntactic verb classes, using clustering [PDF]
