Trees
Tree drawing tool animation
The accompanying animations demonstrate how the Tree Drawing Tool works to
construct trees. The tool implements transformational movement in a
standard way. Once a tree is built by the user, it can be copied into any
modern word processing program as a picture. In the Macintosh version of
the program, trees constructed with the tool have strings of dummy symbols
at their leaves. Actual words are substituted in the word processing
document by editing the picture. In the Windows version, the dummy symbols
can be replaced by words within the Trees program itself.
