I was born in a small town in Bulgaria, Eastern Europe. In the early nineties Bulgaria's economy collapsed, and it became very difficult to live there. My parents decided to take a leap of faith and we moved to Israel. I spent my late childhood and early adult years living in Tel Aviv - a city that has the unique character that comes from combining Western and Middle Eastern cultures. |

I went to art high-school in Tel Aviv, where I studied painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and art history.
Here are two of my favorite pieces from high-school
When I grew up I went to college at Tel Aviv University, where I majored in Computer Science and Mathematics, and I spent a few years as a software developer. To top things off, I also did a masters in Linguistics, and since I liked it so much I followed it with a PhD at UPenn (for which I moved to the Unites States).
At UPenn I met my soul mate, and we have been together ever since. We currently live in Palo Alto, California.
In my spare time I enjoy art, reading and cooking.
