New accounts

Set up new account

• Get new account made (user should be made member of mideng-own, mideng-use, emodeng-use)
• Log on to new user's account
• Set shell to tcsh
• Change password
• Set up .cshrc file
  • if necessary, mv ~/.cshrc .cshrc.orig
  • cp /home/beatrice/.cshrc-new .cshrc
  • edit HOME variable to reflect appropriate username
  • source .cshrc
• Set up .emacs file
  • if necessary, mv ~/.emacs .emacs.orig
  • cp /home/beatrice/.emacs .emacs
• if necessary, copy appropriate elisp directory and adjust reference directory in bw.el, color.el, dot-emacs.el, and tb-setup.el (grep for MIDENG in *.el)
• make appropriate directory for corpus files
• check permissions for new directory
• copy training file
• test lexicon-mode emacs
