Corpustr account

• On a Mac, invoke a terminal program (e.g. X11 or Terminal)
• Log on to the corpustr account (note "Y" is capital)
  • ssh -Y corpustr@babel.ling.upenn.edu
  • At the prompt, enter the password
  • If prompted for terminal type, simply enter RETURN
• Navigate to the appropriate directory of the corpustr account using ls and cd
• In order to access the Emacs tutorial, type emacs and then type C-h t. That is, type CONTROL and then h (continuing to hold down the CONTROL key), then let go of both and type t. The h stands for "help", and the t stands for "tutorial". Then follow the onscreen instructions.
