The 25th Penn Linguistics Colloquium

The 25th annual Penn Linguistics Colloquium took place on Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4, 2001, in 17 Logan Hall at the University of Pennsylvania.

Our invited speaker was professor Morris Halle from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology..

We had papers on various topics in linguistics and related fields. This year's Colloquium featured a special session on "Empirical Data and
Linguistic Theory". Speakers had twenty minutes for their presentations and five minutes for discussion and questions.

We wish to thank all persons and parties involved in planning and running the colloquium.
See you next year at PLC 26.
