Dear beloved linguists,

As the newly self-appointed chair of the PLC subcommittee for presenter 
relations, I am putting out a request for people to kindly open their homes for 
PLC presenters who are looking for a space to crash.  If you would be at all 
interested in undertaking such a kind gesture (thereby maintaining your human 
decency), please e-mail me back with:

Your name. (very useful for cataloging purposes)

Where you live. (General area of the city is helpful as well as address)

What pets you may have.  Spouses don't count.

About how many people you think you could reasonably accomodate.

If you have a preference as to which sex you host.  OK folks, the idea of this 
one is that some people may be more comfortable hosting members of the same sex 
due to a slight conservativeness in their nature.  There is nothing shameful in 
this.  On the other hand, requesting a particular sex for the sake of some 
vague (and frankly pathetic) hope of engaging in a means of sexual fulfillment 
is entirely shameful.  If you attempt this, I will send ugly people home with 
you.
