The 28th Annual Penn Linguistics Colloquium will take place February 27-29 at
the University of Pennsylvania's Jon M. Huntsman Hall. 

  Keynote address:
  Juliette Blevins (University of California, Berkeley)
  "Structure-preserving sound change: How and why?"

The PLC 28 program includes sessions on language acquisition, language variation
and change, syntax, phonology, semantics, and discourse/pragmatics. For a

The preregistration deadline is Wednesday, February 18. To preregister, visit

online form, and mail your payment ($15 students/$20 nonstudents) to Penn

will cost an additional $5.
