Dear PLC 28 speakers:

1. As some of you are aware, the preliminary schedule for PLC 28 has been
posted. You can view it at:

Please take a look at the schedule and make sure that your name and title are
correct and that your abstract is linked properly. Keep in mind that some of
the times may shift slightly, particularly on Saturday. We'll also be updating
the page with session chairs and other events. Check back frequently!

2. The online registration form has also been posted, at:
http://www.ling.upenn.edu/Events/PLC/registration/register.php

To take advantage of the preregistration discount, you need to complete the
online form and mail your payment by February 18. The preregistration rate is
$15 for students, $20 for nonstudents; onsite it will cost an additional $5 to
register.

We're also offering a discount on conference T-shirts this year to people who
order them by February 13. You can view the T-shirt design at:

If you'd like to pre-order a shirt, add $8 to your preregistration payment and
email your t-shirt size to tatjana@ling.upenn.edu.

3. If you are planning to use Powerpoint, audio or video recordings, overheads,
or any other presentation format that requires special equipment, please
contact me at your convenience and let me know what you'll need. The rooms in
Huntsman are equipped to accommodate just about anything, but it will help if
we know ahead of time what to expect. Keep in mind that you won't be able to
install fonts or other software on the PC in the classroom. 

4. Various reminders - email csolar@ling.upenn.edu with crash space requests;
email jlaury@ling.upenn.edu to request reviewers' comments; email me your
revised abstracts; and refer to the PLC homepage
(http://www.ling.upenn.edu/Events/PLC) for information about travel and hotels.
